I grew up in a typical NW household athletic - skiing, camping, road tripping and hiking with my family. We used to dance in the living room to music like Abba, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran and Donna Summer. We also shared our home with war refugees. My family and nature are why I returned to Portland to make things happen, but not before gaining some chops and paying my dues. I'm a graduate of one of the top art colleges in the country, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and my work has branded two companies - one award winning publication and on retail outlet called Hand-Eye Supply. Having worked for editorial all over the world, I'm highly familiar with global fashion apparel markets and the changing landscapes with content marketing and image branding. Lastly, I've worked solidly in 6 cities; Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, and New York and I make regular research trips to update my knowledge on trend, keep a finger on the pulse with talent and maintain creative relationships. http://www.happyplayground.com
